Kaori Maruoka (丸岡 香織 Maruoka Kaori) was a character of Ousama Game: The Animation. She was a student of Class 1-B in the first King's game who looked up to Yousuke Ueda where he helped stand up to her in elementary school.
When Yousuke died, Kaori thought Nobuaki Kanazawa killed him, so she tried to kill him. Eventually, she died from breaking the rule to avoid doing the unnecessary action of crying after Nobuaki told her that Yousuke loved her and told Nobuaki to protect her after his death.

- The name Kaori means "fragrance, fragrant" (香) (ka) and "weave, weaving" (織) (ori).
- Kaori's surname Maruoka means "round, circle, pills, purity, suffix for ship names, complete" (丸) (maru) and "ridge, hill" (岡) (oka).
